Fernando Dueñas, a developer from Argentina, just pointed me out to his first Papervision3D project for Vilder SA.
It’s a very cool and refreshing approach to a 3D interface, very minimalist but still engaging, definitely worth a check.

Mansour Raad just released a cool experiment, with source code included, on 3D visualization of heatmaps. Inspired by Doug McCune he set himself to do his own version and add 3D support for it.
