Arnaud, from kungfuyoga, just announced his latest PV3D installation: Grand Palais. It’s a virtual tour of the Grand Palais of Champs Elysées that seamlessly combines pre-rendered 3D, in the form of video, with Papervision3d overlay for info. Also all the galleries are made in PV3D.
Here’s his own description:

On this one, we tried to simulate 3D tracking by synching the 3D movie playback with a Frustrum camera (there’s a data file exported from 3dsmax with the camera params for each frame). Works quite well but the render is a little shaky mainly due to Flash asynchronous video implementation. The mini-map also works with the same camera data.
